Stahls Automotive Museum (Chesterfield)

Ride to STAHLS AUTOMOTIVE MUSEUM, Saturday, June 1 @ 11:30 AM.

We'll assemble after the monthly general membership meeting at the dealership, and head to Stahls Automotive Museum in Chesterfield, MI.  We be taking surface streets with a travel distance of about 46 miles and travel time of about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

If there is interest in stopping for lunch before arriving at the musuem, this can be added to the trip.  Details to be finalized in May.

THIS DESTINATION IS A TOP NOTCH HISTORICAL AUTOMOTIVE MUSEUM and an outstanding collection of music machines (including a Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ), gas pumps, signs, and memorabilia.

The Stahls Automotive Foundation was created to build an appreciation for history. Our mission is to educate, motivate and inspire young people with a passion and appreciation for vintage vehicles and help them to understand their contribution to the development of the car industry as well as their impact on society, history and everyday life.

A visit to the Stahls Automotive Foundation will take you back to a time in history when cars were more than just a way to take us from point A to point B. Gain a better understanding of how the automobile developed from a novelty to a main form of transportation. In addition to the beautiful cars, enjoy the collection of gas pumps, road signs, oil cans and other car-related accessories from the Depression era.

No admission charge, there are donation boxes located at the entry door and on the main floor.
